My husband and I have wanted to buy a runner for our hallway that leads from the dining room to the bedrooms and bathroom. We have throw rugs throughout the house and they are not only for looks, but also for protecting the floors from constant scratches. The dogs running back and forth wreak havoc on the hardwood floors.
CSN Stores to the rescue! It took time to get through the pages and pages of rugs but we did it. We then narrowed our search down to several runners we liked best and then the process of elimination started. We went back and forth, because we were really picky, and then decided on the Rain Forest Jazz Black by Wainwright Rugs. It’s a Contemporary Rug and looks awesome in the hall! The rug is very well made and looks like it will hold up under the stress of constant paw traffic. The material is 100% olefin face with jute back. The colors are earthy tones, with a touch of blue/gray. I’m thrilled with the way this looks and I am still in shock over the great value!
We want to get a matching rug for the dining room area. That will be our next big purchase. The rugs we looked at were very affordable. You can find something for every budget. The 1’11″ x 7’2″ runner we received was $46.40. Not only was it affordable but it was also a free ship item. Not too shabby, right?

i too had to finally replace 2 long runners as our hallwall is super long. i went to home depot and had them cut this for me. it sounds like this way you did would have solved the proble. thanks rose
