Mexico, MO Puppy Mill Rescue Mission Part 4
Posted in Doggies on 15. Nov, 2010
I was so excited about seeing little Margot this weekend that I just couldn’t think about anything else. Her foster mom told me that she was doing fine. She still has some issues with people touching her. That is to be expected. I got up early on Sunday morning. I was told Margot would be coming to the Southside Animal Shelter at Noon. I could have left at like 5am. That’s how excited I was. Terri, her wonderful foster mom, has three of the poms that were rescued. What an angel to take care of three puppy mill dogs and also to take care of hers at the same time. I’m sure it’s a busy home!
Snickers is one of the males we got from the puppy mill. Snickers couldn’t stop wagging his tail and that nearly made me cry. What a little trooper. He’s lived his whole life in a little cage and he seems to be so happy right now. He’s adjusting so well.
Robin from the Southside Animal Shelter has already started a page on the website just for the Missouri Dogs. You can click here to see who’s been loaded to the website so far. There are more to come.
There will be special adoption events coming up, so I will keep everyone posted here or you can watch the shelter’s website for updates. I don’t think we will have any problem finding all these babies forever homes.

Thats so wonderful Doreen, you have a beautiful soul
Awwwwwwww what faces on those babies! Margot is such a pretty little girl, and Snickers is quite the fella!
Can’t wait for the update that they have their forever homes.
