This was a very busy weekend for me (this past weekend).  So busy that I didn’t have the time to go to two very important events for two of my favorite organizations. :hangs head in shame:  I really felt bad about it but by the time I got done with chores I needed to do both events were only minutes from packing it in.  I wish there were three of me!

With that said, I need to give a heart felt shout out to Indy Pit Crew and the Southside Animal Shelter of Indianapolis.  I feel absolutely horrible that I couldn’t get to your events.  This weekend was just non-stop running for me and a little chaotic.  I will make it up to you.  I promise.

I spent the entire Sunday at an event for the Hamilton County Humane Society, where Sandy and I were selling our Collarettes.  It was quite busy and we had a nice steady stream of dog lovers stopping by to purchase a Collarette, not only for themselves, but for Christmas gifts.  I thought to myself, “Is it THAT time already?”  Sheesh….I felt like this summer just flew right past.  Is it just me?

I met some interesting characters at the event today, including one of the dogs who was a first responder to 9-11.  Here is Kaiser, 12 years old, hanging with some kids.  It’s a bit blurry…sorry about that.

Speaking of Christmas, I will have the Doggies and Stuff Holiday Gift Guide’s Giveaway-A-Day again this year.  If you are new to Doggies and Stuff you are in for a real treat.  Last year, I had about 40 companies signed on.  We gave something away each weekday.  It’s loads of fun and I do hope you stick around for that!

I have some great giveaways coming up soon, so stay close and watch carefully!
