Thank you

Sergeant Stubby (1916 or 1917 – March 16, 1926), was the most decorated war dog of World War I and the only dog to be promoted to sergeant through combat. By the way, he was a pit bull!
Today, hundreds of K-9 still serve our country. I want to thank them, as well as the men and women, especially my father, who served 30 years, for the sacrifices they have made for us and continue to make.

God bless all those who serve, both human and canine who protect and serve all year round. It’s too easy to forget their sacrifices especially when Veterans Day is now pushed as a great shopping day for sales.
I’m glad you posted this. Dogs have such a unique history in helping humans. I know it’s over, but Veteran’s is such a great day (my brother served) for service members and means so much to them.
