An Urgent Plea from A Father and Friend

Here is Nick describing what happened. WARNING: This is VERY gruesome and difficult to read. Read at your own risk.
I am Nick Chavez Chavez II the father of Nikolas Chavez III who was brutally beaten to death at the age of 3. My son was broken in half backwards and all belly innards were ruptured. The system failed, my constitutional rights were grossly abused as well. The beast who took my son from this world got off lightly; he only got 7 years. From the looks of it he is now only serving 5. He only got charged with child endangerment and was dismissed for both manslaughter and reckless manslaughter. He must be charged with murder in the first. If you were a fly on the wall during both trials you would see that this beast clearly did it! The guilty must pay the maximum amount of years for the most cowardly violent act. Is there a news article on this? I’d like to have a better understanding of what the circumstances were. Yes what he is describing is very graphic.

The man has 2 years left on a 7 year sentence. He will get out, soon. Parole or no parole. If he gets out on parole, the state will, at least, attempt to keep track of him and make sure he doesn’t break the law again.
If he is released at the end of 7 years, the state has no recourse to monitor him, unless there were provisions for probation, supervised release, etc when he was originally sentenced.
It seems unfair. However, I’d rather know where this guy is than try to find him after he commits another crime….

This is an outright disgrace to this deceased baby, his justice, and an embarrassment to our legal system. How is this not 1st or 2nd degree murder? Is there no capital law?
