The weather is getting warmer and summer is right around the corner, so you might be making travel plans or other types of plans: Outdoor Parties and Barbeques, Picnics, Family Gatherings, etc. I have one trip I am planning for in June (BlogPaws!!!!!! WOOOO). While I won’t be taking the girls, the other pet blogger I am driving with is taking her dog, so I know she is making a list of things she will need to take for the long 20 hour drive! With that said, I wanted to share with you just a few things that Petco™ offers for the dogs in your life, whether you are just planning on hanging out around your home or traveling!

One of my favorite products is the Wander Pail by Kurgo, which you can find in store at your local Petco. This stainless steel travel bowl is a chic and functional way to picnic anywhere with your pooch. Two bowls in one allow for easy storage of food and other treats while on the go. The larger bowl acts as the carrying case and has and inset removable smaller bowl, while the screw on lid and handle make for easy toting to your next fantastic destination. This is definitely a great travel product to have!

To help keep fido safer while traveling in your car, try a Premium Seat Belt Harness ($19.99-23.99). I can’t tell you how many times I see a dog hanging out of a car window, not restrained in any way. Statistics on pet injuries or deaths in vehicles aren’t compiled, but I am sure it is a high number. Making sure your dog is properly restrained may save their life. If you just want to hang tight at home, the Chuckit! Indoor Launcher Dog Toy ($16.99 – on sale now for $13.59) is PERFECT! Kiko is absolutely obsessed with this toy and I mean OBSESSED! I am not sure what it is but we have never seen her act this way with any other toy and get this – it’s not the plush Roller Dog Toy that comes with the Chuckit! that she is bananas about – it’s the wand! A picture just won’t tell the story like a video can, so I decided to record Kiko playing with the Chuckit! Indoor Launcher.

LOL! Kiko cracks me up! I decided to tape this outside, even though this is meant to be an indoor toy, because I wanted you to be able to really see it in action. Since I have back issues, I prefer this hands-free toy because I don’t have to bend over to pick up anything. I simple grab the Roller Dog Toy with the Chuckit! wand and toss the toy. I don’t really worry about a ball going through the window with this toy, since the Roller Dog Toy is plush. It’s an ideal way to keep your dog busy, especially if it is too cold to be outside or when it’s raining. It really is a fun toy to have around!
