Loved Dogs Art – Custom Pastel Portraits for your Pets!

Recently, I was lucky enough to be introduced to the art of Mechelle Roskiewicz, a New York artist that uses Pastels to create beautiful portraits of beloved pets.  I first heard about Loved Dogs Art when I was writing about the 2012 HollyWOOF Gift Bags by Distinctive Assets.  Mechelle was gifting a custom portrait to the celebrities receiving a gift bag.  I decided to visit Loved Dogs Art and found myself really admiring her work.

Mechelle offered to do a Custom Pastel Portrait of the girls, so I sent her several photos to work with and this is what came out of it:

Our pets are like family, so having a portrait by an amazing artist will be something you can cherish forever.  Mechelle really enhances your pet’s features and brings the portrait to life, all for a very affordable price!

All projects require a 50% deposit, which is normal. Sizes and costs are:

Petite 8×10 (unframed) One Subject Head Shot. $175

Small 10×14 (unframed) One Subject Head Shot. $275 Each additional Subject $100

Large – Best for Detail. 16×20 (unframed) Head Shot or Full Body. $310.00 Each additional Subject $100

While our project didn’t take long to finish, Mechelle states it takes 4-6 weeks, depending on her workload.
