I am definitely a fan of multi-pet households. When I adopted Kiko it wasn’t long before she attached herself to Riley’s hip. She was 9 weeks old when we brought her home and I think she looked to Riley as her mother figure. She slept curled up next to her and followed her everywhere. It was apparent how much they loved being together, how much they enjoyed each other.
Check out the video below I made of Riley and Kiko playing with each other in 2010. Kiko was about a year and a half old at this point.
Pets Add Life (PAL) promotes responsible pet ownership. You should check out their HILARIOUS videos on YouTube HERE. Their campaign is about the benefits of having multiple pets; it’s about sharing how much our pets mean to us and the joy they bring us. It’s about promoting adoption and pledging our commitment to pets.
By the way – this is one of my favorite videos by PAL:
PAL are running a contest right now where shelters have a chance to win a grand prize of $10,000! One second runner up wins $3,000 and a third runner up wins $2,000. YOU CAN VOTE right now through November 16th with winners being announced on November 19th, which is National Get a Pal for Your Pet Day!
I encourage you to enter the blog hop and spread the word. I am looking forward to your stories about how happy your pets make you!
