I always have fun shopping for the girls, especially around the holidays. I know what treats they like, the toys they have fun playing with and the beds they are most comfortable sleeping in (usually it’s my bed!). LOL! Having something for our pets to unwrap keeps them occupied, so that we can enjoy opening our gifts.

Petco has some really great holiday products and as always, I am thrilled to tell you about some of them right here at Doggies and Stuff!

Most of us take pictures of our pets to add to our holiday cards. Typically, I will take pictures of the gang inside and outside. Once I’ve chosen a picture (or pictures) to work with, I use my PaintShop Pro software from Corel to add things to the photo to make it stand out in our holiday cards. This year will be different, however, because Petco has antlers, bows, other holiday-themed collars and costumes our pets can wear to help make our pictures perfect!

Each of my girls get a Holiday stocking. We add a treat and some toys and they get their stockings on Christmas morning. Petco has gift sets available for every budget. Their gift sets include prepackaged stockings and boxed gift sets with an assortment of products and treats ($14.99 – $19.99). Not only would they make great gifts for your owns pets but as gifts for pets that belong to your friends, family and co-workers. You could also get a few to drop off at your veterinarian’s office. A lot of times they will take in strays and often need toys. Your local rescues could also use these gifts.
