Pawsitively Clean® by BISSELL Rental Now Available At PetSmart!

Carpets and rugs suffer a great deal when you have pets. No matter how much you try to wipe down the paws after your dog has been outdoors there is no way you can get all of the dirt off. Pawsitively Clean® by BISSELL, has been helping PetSmart® customers tackle all kinds of pet messes since 2009. The machine cleans on both the forward and backward pass and the two-tank system is easy to fill and empty. The specially-formulated machine formula with odor-eliminating technology penetrates to remove tough pet stains and dirt. A nine-foot hose provides the reach to clean carpeted stairs and even car upholstery. The Pet Stain Eraser™ hand tool, helps to reach tough spots, cleaning from the bottom of the carpet, to provide the deepest clean.

I had an opportunity to rent a Pawsitively Clean by BISSELL carpet cleaning machine at PetSmart. The rental will set you back $24.99 for a 24-hour rental and $3 for a 24-hour accessory rental. Also, you do need to purchase the cleaner separately, which runs about $19.99. You do receive a $15 deposit back when you bring your rental back. I received a brochure with information on how to use the machine when I rented it and I found the instructions very simple.

Since we have wood floors, I took the machine to my daughter’s house. I circled the REALLY dirty areas on the floor in the picture above.

Once you remove the furniture, you prepare the machine by removing the top section (middle photo above) and adding cleaner to the bottom container, along with warm water. You’re now ready to start cleaning!

It takes time to clean; depending on how many rooms you want to clean it can take anywhere from a 1/2 day to an entire day. You have the machine for 24 hours, so take advantage of it. It took a few hours for the carpet to dry but it was worth it. The stains were gone, including the hard-to-clean stains. Poppi was ready to go outside, so she could come back in and start tracking the dirt back into the house!

My overall experience with the Pawsitively Clean® by BISSELL rental was great. It was easy to use and it did a fantastic job of getting all the stains up from the carpet!
