Friday’s Focus: Amber

I am doing something a little different today with Friday’s Focus.  I found this precious girl last Friday and I am looking for a rescue to take her in or a stable loving home.

INDIANAPOLIS Friends-

I am DESPERATE to find a place for Amber ASAP. The staff at my Vet’s office named her Amber after they bathed her and her beautiful color came out.

She was found, thin, starving, near Washington St and Rockville Rd. last Friday. Amber has been at my vet’s office for 6 days and while I am sure they don’t mind holding her I really need some help in finding a place for her to go so she can start her recovery. She can’t go to a shelter at this moment; she needs to get healthy for vaccines and spay.

She had a Temp Test today and passed. She is a candidate for rescue/foster and really needs to go to a rescue as soon as possible. She is heartworm negative, fecal came back negative but she is being treated for a urinary tract infection.

Amber is very sweet and precious but she is really scared. Who knows what has happened to her but she crawled toward me with her head down. She devoured food out of my hand when I got her in my car.

My Millie is very aggressive towards dogs, which is why I can’t take her in.
