Petco® just released a new line of products designed to make playtime fun with travel-themed toys to take your dogs around the world this summer! Now that the summer is upon us, we can enjoy spending time outdoors with our pets, which is good for them and for us. It helps decrease stress and we feel happier! Kiko loves being outside and loves it even more when she can take some toys out there to play.
Some of the products Petco® introduced are:
Petco Travel Airplane Plush Dog Toy
Kiko loves this toy! It’s motion activated, so when your dog plays with the airplane it makes noises. It also has crinkly wings! We love toys that are crinkly because they are more fun to play with. The retail price is $9.99 but it is on sale now for $7.49.
A Petco Suitcase Rope Toy
Another favorite toy for Kiko is the adorable smiling Suitcase Rope Toy! I remember when I was a kid and there were times I would “run away” from home! I would pack my little suitcase and walk out the door like I was never coming home again! I never got really far – maybe down to the corner! This rope toy has an activated motion sensor, similar to the airplane, and makes noises while your dog is playing with it. This is such a fun toy to play tug-of-war with your dog! You can find these at various Petco locations.
Petco Aloha Playtime Pal
This adorable plush snuggle toy has a grass skirt made of felt that reads, “ALOHA” on it. This plush pig has a squeaker, making it loads of fun for dogs that go bonkers for squeaky toys! The suitcase, airplane and plush toy make a trio of around the world fun for your dog without leaving her yard!
Petco Traffic Cones with Rings
This interactive toy can be fun for you and your dog! You can toss the rings and your dog can try and fetch them before they get to the cone or your dog can try to get the rings off the cone once they land and bring it back to you! It’s not the typical fetch toy but it brings a unique twist to the game of fetch – for sure!
Other toys include the Leaning Tower of Pisa (I HAVE to have that one because I was born in Pisa, Italy!), a Sumo Wrestler, Toucan and more! Check your local Petco and Petco.com to find more fun toys for your around the world adventure!
In addition to toys inspired from around the world, Petco carries tasty treats called Whimzees that are made in Holland! Whimzees are all natural dog treats that are low fat, gluten-free and vegetarian! These dental chews help remove tartar and plaque as your dog chews, leaving their teeth clean and their breath fresher! When I first saw them I thought they were little trolls but they are actually hedgehogs – at least the Whimzees that we got are. They do have them shaped like alligators, sticks and toothbrushes.
WIN IT: One (1) winner will receive two (2) Whimzees for their dog in medium, one (1) Petco Traffic Cone Dog Toy, one (1) Petco Aloha Dog Toy, one (1) Petco Suitcase Dog Toy.
DATES: July 1 – 13, 2013 (midnight)
