Who loves Halloween? I do! I do! Who loves dressing their dogs up in costumes? I do! I do! Hello, my dear friends! I am so sorry that I have been absent! We had some personal things going on and then my laptop decided to die. Luckily, a neighbor, who used to work for HP (my laptop is an HP), did some surgery on her and brought her back to life! Did you miss me? I really missed all of you! I really appreciate all of the emails you guys sent me and the virtual hugs; it meant a lot.
So – Halloween is just around the corner and you know what that means, right? DOG COSTUMES!! This is my favorite holiday and my absolute favorite time of the year and OH boy – how I LOVE dressing Kiko up, even if she hates me for it! Ha ha! She is a good sport about it, however. Over the next few days, Kiko and her friends are going to model some of our picks for this year, so stay tuned!
Devil with a Tutu Dog Costume. Originally $14.99, the sale price is $11.24. I LOVED Kiko in this costume but the look on her face, “Really, mama?” The tutu is adorable and has iridescent spheres to help the tutu sparkle. The horns on the headpiece are made with faux patent leather and stays in place with an elastic band made for the chin strap. While she wasn’t happy that I had taken her out of her comfort zone and dressed her up to take photos, she did have a blast playing with her new Halloween toys, the Halloween Zombie Girl (in store only) and Frankenstein Zombie Dog (reg $8.99, now $6.74).
Who love TACOS? I do! I do! Kiko’s pal Elton is the perfect model for the adorable Taco Halloween Dog Costume! It is regularly $19.99 but on sale now for an affordable $14.99! It’s nearly sold out online; in fact, you can only get an XX Small online now. Hurry and check your local Petco to see if you can snatch one up. It is easy on, easy off, with a velcro strap that goes under the belly and another one under the chest. This is my #1 favorite costume this year and I am going to give you the chance to win one (details below)!!
Xena, Kiko’s other pal, loves football, so she wanted to model the Football Halloween Dog Costume for us! Perfect for dogs that don’t like costumes, this one simply has a velcro strap for around the belly and one around the chest, so it’s like having a harness on! This costume comes in X-Small/Small or Med/Large. The regular price is $14.99 but it is on sale now for $11.24; that is a steal! Whether it’s Halloween or Football Season, this costume will be used more than once a year and will certainly be the talk of the neighborhood! Go Colts!
If your dog absolutely doesn’t want to wear a costume, Petco offers Halloween-themed hoodies and sweaters. These can also be worn on walks and to doggy daycare throughout the month of October!
Elton looks super hip in this warm Mohawk Hoodie! Regularly $19.99 and on sale now for $14.99, this comfy hoodie is a perfect alternative to a full-on costume. It’s also great for going for walks in the cool, crisp fall season! You can pick this gem up in XX-Small, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, XX-Large.
Kiko is comfortable in this adorable Bat Halloween Dog Sweater! A tap on the battery-operated control and the eyes glow! Regularly $19.99 and on sale now for $14.99! The easy pullover sweater comes in multiple sizes.
In addition to all the fun Halloween Costumes, Toys, Leashes, Collars and more, Petco is giving you a chance to win $25,000!
