FAQ’s

I decided to add an FAQ page after receiving multiple emails from folks wanting to enter my giveaways but not quite sure how.  While I try to make entering as easy as possible, I can understand where there may be some confusion, especially if you are not a blogger.  I also get emails asking random questions, so I thought creating an FAQ would be helpful.  If there is something you feel I should add here please feel free to let me know.

Entering giveaways:

I’ve been asked multiple times why readers who want to enter have to comment with, “I am a subscriber?” They say, “You know I am a subscriber, so why can’t I just be entered automatically?”

This is a great question and I appreciate you asking.  There are multiple answers to this.  Even though I have more than 2,500 subscribers, not all of them want to enter the giveaways.  A lot of my readers just read the content and others just visit randomly.  This way, I know that you are indeed interested in winning the product(s).  Also, a lot of the businesses I work with on product giveaways want to see that interaction, want to see the comments.  It shows that there are people interested in their products and thus, might want to purchase from them.  It’s all about marketing and bringing you and the products together.  You may see businesses that you have never heard of before, so product reviews and giveaways are simply a way to help market their product.

How do I enter?

You must be an active subscriber of Doggies and Stuff to enter.  Becoming a subscriber is easy.  On the right side of my blog, scroll down a bit until you see “Subscribe” and a box that says, “Enter Your Email Address”.  Add your email address there and click the button, “Subscribe”.  Go to your email.  You should receive an email asking to confirm your subscription.  Check your spam box if it is not in your in box.  Once you confirm by clicking the link add our email address to your list of contact to ensure our updates will go to you in box and not to your spam box.
