About Me

Welcome to Doggies and Stuff!

I am an Administrative Assistant by day and a blogger by night.  I review and host giveaways for pet products, as well as eco-friendly/organic and health/beauty products.  I am nuts about COFFEE ~ CHOCOLATE (especially Godiva) ~ MAKEUP ~ SKIN-CARE ~ VOLUNTEERING ~ COFFEE (I know I said it already) ~ TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS OF RANDOM THINGS ~ DOGS ~ COFFEE (Did I mention that already?) ~ BAKING and more.  I love making my own cinnamon/almond/vanilla creamer for my COFFEE!  Can you tell I love coffee? :giggles:Anywag – you’ll see much more than doggy stuff here.  I blog about products for pet parents, too.

I have been around dogs my entire life and have been a supporter of “green” pet products to keep our pets safe and our planet healthy for years.  HERE you can see an article I wrote, which was featured in the Sept/Oct 2010 issue of FIDO Friendly magazine. My Green Tips were featured in their 2010 Holiday issue. I do speaking engagements on green pet products and give pet parents advice on how to go green with their pets.

While Doggies and Stuff is mainly about dog products, and making sure your dogs live healthier lifestyles, I am also very involved in dog rescue and education for dog fighting, misinformation about pit bulls and the horrors of puppy mills. These are areas I feel need to be addressed over and over again until we see an end to puppy mills, BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) and dog fighting. We also feel stronger penalties need to be in place for those caught dog fighting.

I am a proud pet mom of little Kiko (2 1/2 years old), Millie (9 years old), and Riley Elizabeth (8 years old).   They are your pet product testers! We prefer products made right here in the USA but we have reviewed products made from our pals in Canada and the UK.

I strongly believe in giving back, so I donate all pet beds we review to local no-kill shelters, rescues, or local foster programs.  I also donate money I receive via our affiliate programs and from advertising.

I hope you enjoy my blog.  Feel free to post comments, or email me with ideas, suggestions, and questions.  I love hearing from my readers, and from businesses interested in working with us.
